Immerse yourself in a week-long art retreat with watercolor master Agnes Cecile, set in the idyllic Sicilian countryside at Borgo del Carato, a private and beautifully restored hamlet. With its intimate, folkloric charm, this exclusive location offers the unique experience of truly living in a small, close-knit community of artists for a week.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll engage in focused watercolor sessions exploring portraiture and expressive layering techniques, guided by Agnes Cecile. You’ll share these creative days with a group of sixteen fellow artists, fostering a warm and inspiring environment. Alongside painting sessions, we’ll venture on enriching excursions to nearby UNESCO sites, taking in the cultural depth of Sicily.
You will most benefit from this retreat if you have some prior experience with drawing and watercolor, as the courses are not designed for complete beginners.

What's included:
• Art classes, personalized guidance, and demonstrations with watercolor artist Agnes Cecile.
• Winsor & Newton fine-art supplies, including larger watercolor papers and watercolors paints curated by Agnes Cecile.
• 7 nights at Borgo del Carato, with exclusive use of a private villa with a park of 90 hectares.

• Airfare/transportation to Catania Fontanarossa Airport.
• Travel insurance.
• Art supplies: pencils, rubber, tape, an empty palette, a small watercolor artbook, a sketchbook, and your personal watercolor brushes (especially big sizes) - a detailed list of art materials recommended by Agnes Cecile will be provided two months before the retreat.
• Lunch during the full-day trip to Siracusa/Ortigia.
